The following questions have been asked to us by many customers throughout the years. The information provided below should help give you some more insight about electrical work and Langlois Journeymen Electricians.
Our main electrical panel upgrade includes main panel at 200 amps, removal and reinstallation of existing circuits, new 200 amp meter base, treated lumber back board behind meter base. New wire into panel from meter base and up mast if over head, new grounding and bonding including ground plate.
The call out fee includes diagnosis and travel to site. This also accounts for misc materials such as marettes and screws.
The hourly rate is $150 per hour. Why so high you might ask? The rate is not truly based on the labour but rather a combination of the time and knowledge that comes with hiring a Journeyperson electrician.
Today fluorescent lighting is on its way out and LED is the future. LED lighting, while it may have an initially high upfront cost, will pay back quickly and be more efficient.
We try to recycle as much as possible. Fluorescent tubes, cardboard, scrap wire. These are all things that can be recycled and avoid our landfills.
